The summer season is on our way and it is important that we know how to solve the problems with the air conditioner ourselves!
Most air conditioner problems are simple problems that can be eliminated even without tools.
We all suffer from the heat in the summer, especially with the climate change process that each year gets warmer than the previous year.
Today I will list the most common problem in the air conditioner:
Why My Air Conditioner Leaking and How Fix That.
The first thing to check is the pump,
Check that it is plugged in and that it is pumping water out.
You can pour water in and check for yourself because sometimes it takes time to fill up and get started.
Open the pipes connected to the pump on both sides, check for dirt that accumulates like dust, and clean if necessary.
2. Blocked Drain line Hole
Each air conditioning unit has a pipeline leading to the pump and out (from the Drin hole),
You should check that nothing is blocking the pipe.
Try to blow into it, and you’ll feel if it’s clogged.
I recommend checking the two lines, one coming out of the air conditioner to the pump, and one coming out of the pump out.
If they are clogged simply pour hot water in them until you see the water coming out clean at the end of the pipe.
If you see that the ground pipe has replaced it, at every Home Depot store close to your home.
In most cases, after a period of winter when we did not turn on the air conditioner the pipes tend to be clogged.
3. Air Filters
One of the common problems leaking in the air conditioner comes from the filters.
If the filters are not clean the air does not reach the coil, which causes it to freeze.
Just clean the filters every three months.
And if there are holes in them, I recommend you replace the air conditioner filters.
If you have a central air conditioner, clean the filters in the ceiling.
I really recommend you do these tests before you call a technician or a professional.
These are really three tests that anyone can do at home for your Air Conditioner Leaking.
