  • Leather gloves
  • Shingle nails
  • Shingles
  1. Loosen the tabs under the broken shingle and the next two courses above it
  2. Gently work the prey bar under both tabs as you push it upwards.
  3. Pop out the nails by prying underneath the shingle.
  4. Slide the new shingle up into place. Nail the center row first.

You can also fix small holes in shingles with designated materials, without removing the shingles
