- Pry bar
- Leather gloves
- Shingle nails
- Loosen the tabs under the broken shingle and the next two courses above it
- Gently work the prey bar under both tabs as you push it upwards.
- Pop out the nails by prying underneath the shingle.
- Slide the new shingle up into place. Nail the center row first.
You can also fix small holes in shingles with designated materials, without removing the shingles
